The day after the hair transplant, we carry out a comprehensive review to assess the condition of both the donor and recipient areas.

During this appointment, our medical team performs the first wash and reviews post-operative care instructions to ensure proper recovery.

Process

During the first 48 hours, it is common to experience swelling in the forehead or eyelids, which can be relieved by applying ice to the recommended areas. Antibiotics and pain relief medication are also prescribed to prevent infection and minimise discomfort. The strictest aftercare is essential during the first ten days, as this is the critical period for follicle anchoring.

Once the scabs have disappeared, the patient may gradually return to their normal routine, including physical activity and sun exposure, always following medical advice.
